Riaz I completely agree with what you say, the people who are doing this are not even aware of what their religion says on this matter. We are all people of the book.

And Kini, Its not much, but it is the very least I can do to help address this problem.

Not just in Egypt, I wonder how could a Muslim harm a Christian at all.
These Muslims must read Al Quran Surah chapter 5 verse 82...they would find that they are on path which Allah doesn't approve of.

May Allah guide such Muslims.

As a Muslims I say sorry to my Christian brothers and sisters.

Well to be honest their are a host of reasons why. But yes your comment about oil does hit most of the nails on the head. But some other factors to explain why would be Syria's proximity to Iran and the fact that Iran at this moment in time is the main concern for the USA. If they were to wage a war of any sort they would much prefer to wage it on Iran rather than Syria due to the fact that its No.1 on their hit list. Plus, take out Iran and you greatly weaken Syria anyways. Also we can't forget the part Russia and China have played in blocking UN resolutions that harshly criticize Syria. Though they weren't receptive to the whole Libya conflict, they were less resistive. Especially Russia who has a lot to loose if the Syrian regime does fall. I think you might find this article interesting as it helps highlight some of the differences between Libya and Syria:

It seems for whatever reason Assad is not falling like Ghaddafi? do you have any ideas why? Assad is doing no different than Ghaddafi but Ghaddafi was plotted to fall by the USA , albeit from a distance. I think it is going differently because Syria is not an oil producer.
what do you think?

Hey Yasser, Well that's the thing the whole Iran-Bahrain thing is really just propaganda. It's like how Gaddafi labelled the protesters in his country as 'Al-Qaedi' or the 'western stooges'. It was also the same kind of approach Mubarak took to the protests in his country merely labelling them as interference from foreign powers. It's an age old and failed way for governments to deal with internal problems and protests by its citezenary by simply labelling them as interference by external powers. I cover this point more in one of my previous posts about the unrest in Bahrain, but in summary, Iran has enough on it's plate as it is with turmoil inside it's country. The only time it's leaders mentioned anythin about Bahrain was after the government had craked down hard on the protesters. And the people labelling it as that are people who have vested interests in propogating those lies. Every other reputable and reliable new source has discredited these claims about Iranian 'influence' in Bahrain. And the people in Bahrain protesting are Sunni and Shia, and though the majority is Shia this does not mean that because they are Shia that they therefore inherently pledge their alliegence to Iran. Shia does not = Iran just as Sunni does not = Saudi. Political and religious identity are not one and the same.

Hope that helped :)

And btw i appreciate your comment being really nice and polite lol.
